I’m Aimee Barro, a wife, mother of six, faith filled lifestyle creator, homemaker, and founder of Lumiere Vive. I began my journey in content creation back in 2010 when Instagram first launched through a page called Shabby Yellow Barn, where I shared motherhood, DIY projects, vintage thrifting, interior design, and everyday family life.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to grow multiple businesses, collaborate with both local and national brands, host influencer events, build thriving online communities, and create content centered around family, creativity, homemaking, and intentional living.

My Heart
Creating content that feels warm, real, useful, and deeply personal.
My heart is to share real life in a way that points back to goodness, gratitude, family, and faith. I love creating content that feels beautiful, but still lived in. The kind of content that feels like home.
Through every season, God has continued to remind me that light can be found in ordinary moments. A morning at home, a table full of children, a paintbrush in hand, a room being refreshed, a recipe being made, a scripture being remembered, or a simple product that makes family life feel a little more peaceful.
The Journey
From handmade businesses to motherhood, boutiques, and storytelling.
Early Content Creation
By 2015, I had grown an audience of over 18,000 followers during a time when Instagram community building looked very different than it does today. I collaborated with local and national brands, hosted giveaways and influencer events, and connected creators and businesses together through authentic storytelling and community centered content.
Handmade Businesses
I also launched businesses including Treasured Little Creations, where I hand crocheted newborn photography props and children’s Halloween pieces that regularly sold out each season, along with Rustic Nest, where my husband and I created handcrafted vintage inspired home decor pieces shared by home influencers across the country.
The Boutique Journey
In 2016, after the heartbreaking loss of our stillborn daughter, we opened a baby boutique Called Joss & J Boutique in her honor. That journey eventually grew into a highly successful multi store business that we operated until May of 2024. Through that season, I gained experience not only as a creator, but also from the brand side of partnerships and influencer marketing.
This New Chapter
Today, I’m stepping back into content creation with a renewed heart and perspective centered around faith, motherhood, homemaking, family life, recipes, creativity, travel, DIY projects, and intentional living. My husband and I are raising six beautiful children ranging from ages 3 to 18, and creating together as a family has become one of our greatest joys.
