Our Vision
A Place to Gather, Grow, and Serve
Our vision for Lumiere Vive Ministries is to help children, women, and families grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through Scripture, prayer, meaningful relationships, and practical service.
We are praying for a future ministry home where people can gather throughout the week. Through digital discipleship and shared service opportunities, we also want people to participate wherever they live.
Beginning with What God Has Given Us
We are taking our first steps and praying for the funding, relationships, and resources needed to establish this ministry. Our future location is not yet open, but serving does not have to wait.
We are beginning by listening to community needs, building relationships with churches and organizations, and identifying practical ways to help. We believe God can do all things, and we are placing this work in His hands as we move forward.
We envision regular opportunities for children and families to learn Scripture, pray together, and grow in their understanding of Jesus.
These may include Bible lessons, meaningful activities, family gatherings, and simple resources that help parents continue learning at home. Our prayer is to support parents as they teach their children to know God’s Word and follow Him in everyday life.
We want to make room for women to open their Bibles together, ask questions, share honestly, and pray for one another.
Our vision includes regular weekly Bible studies and small groups where people can build lasting relationships and encourage one another to live according to Scripture. Gatherings will develop as leaders, volunteers, and resources become available.
Our community has grown through years of connecting with families across many states. Wherever you live, we want you to have a meaningful way to grow in faith and participate.
We envision online Bible studies, prayer gatherings, recorded lessons, Scripture reading plans, and family discipleship resources. These connections will encourage people to follow Jesus in daily life, become involved in their local churches, and care for their neighbors.
There may also be opportunities to serve from home by helping prepare resources, organize projects, or support ministry administration.
Practical service will be a central part of Lumiere Vive Ministries. We want to listen to the needs around us and work alongside churches and established organizations to provide useful support.
Projects may include collecting requested supplies, preparing care packages, supporting families, and volunteering with local community partners. We also envision shared service projects that individuals, families, and groups can carry out in their own communities.
We want to support local churches through outreach, volunteer service, shared resources, and help with children’s and family ministry. We will encourage participants to build relationships within a local church.
We are praying for a welcoming location that can host Bible studies, children’s and family programs, small groups, and outreach preparation throughout the week.
We envision a place where people can study God’s Word, build relationships, organize supplies, prepare for service projects, and then go out to care for others.
Before committing to a location, we want a realistic plan for funding, ongoing expenses, staffing and volunteer responsibilities, safety, and daily care. We will share updates as these plans develop.
We want those who support this ministry to understand how resources are used. As the organization becomes established, we intend to share financial summaries, ministry updates, and information about the needs and programs being supported.
We plan to establish board oversight, written policies, and clear financial practices. Public updates will protect the private information of donors, volunteers, and the people we serve.
Matthew works full time and supports our family. Our intention is to serve the ministry without taking salaries for ourselves. Necessary operating expenses and any future paid roles will be included transparently in the ministry budget.
As giving opportunities become available, we will explain who receives the support, its intended use, and the applicable tax status.
Lumiere Vive Ministries is being developed as a separate nonprofit organization from Lumiere Vive LLC, our independently owned boutique business. Each will maintain separate finances and responsibilities.
Our proposed plan is for the boutique to rent designated space within a future ministry facility under a written agreement at a fair market rate. Shared expenses would be documented and fairly divided.
Lumiere Vive LLC also intends to contribute 10% of its positive annual net profit to the ministry. This is calculated after business expenses, rather than from total sales.
Boutique purchases are retail transactions, separate from charitable gifts to the ministry.
Be Part of These First Steps
You can begin with prayer, willing hands, or an introduction to someone we may be able to serve alongside. Wherever you live, we would love to hear how you would like to become involved.
