Sustainability

Faith-led stewardship: creating thoughtfully, reducing waste, and caring for people and the planet God made.

Our Approach

We’re a family-run studio. That means we make decisions up close, about materials, packaging, and production, so we can keep quality high and waste low. We don’t claim perfection. We do commit to progress, transparency, and thoughtful choices.

What We’re Doing Now

Made-to-Order & Small Batches

We produce most designs to order or in small runs. This reduces stock, overproduction, and storage waste.

Thoughtful Blanks

We source from brands known for quality and responsible manufacturing. Durable garments last longer and get more wears.

DTF Printing with Less Setup Waste

Direct-to-film (DTF) printing avoids screens/chemical baths used in traditional screen printing, cutting setup waste for small runs. We use water-based pigment inks and apply transfers with heat, great for detailed, on-demand work.

Packaging

Orders ship in recyclable mailers or corrugate. We minimize plastic where feasible and print care cards on FSC-style paper stocks when available.

Local Pickup (By Appointment)

Phoenix-area pickup helps reduce shipping-related materials and miles when convenient for you.

Waste Sorting

We separate cardboard, paper, and film offcuts where local facilities accept them, and we reuse inbound boxes for studio operations.

Care for Longevity

  • Wash inside-out in cold water; tumble low or line-dry.
  • Avoid bleach; do not iron directly on designs.
  • Spot-treat to extend time between washes and preserve color.

Simple care = longer life = fewer replacements.

Honest Notes

DTF uses PET film liners. We work to reduce offcuts and order smartly. Some components have limited recycling options in certain areas, we’ll always be transparent about what we can and can’t reclaim locally.

Our Near-Term Goals

  • 2026: Standardize recyclable or biodegradable mailers for all shipments where practical.
  • 2026: Publish a basic materials list for top-selling blanks with fiber content and care notes.
  • 2027: Launch a “Second Life” pathway (donate/repair/upcycle) for returns in good condition.
  • 2027: Studio waste audit (quarterly) with simple public summary on wins + opportunities.

We will update this page annually as we make progress.

People First

  • Family-run processes with safe, clean studio practices.
  • Respectful supplier relationships; we favor partners with clear labor standards.
  • Faith-centered culture: kindness, fairness, and honesty in every interaction.

Returns with Purpose

When possible, returns in new condition are restocked or donated through community partners. If an item isn’t re-sellable, we prioritize reuse (studio rags, sampling) before disposal.

Sustainability FAQs

Are your inks eco-friendly?
We use water-based pigment inks for DTF transfers. They allow precise, on-demand printing that limits setup waste on small runs. Like all printing methods, they still require responsible handling and curing.
Do you use recycled or organic fabrics?
We prioritize durable, quality blanks first (longer life = fewer replacements). Where feasible, we choose options with recycled or organic content and will publish fabric details for our core tees by 2026.
How can customers help?
Wash cold, line-dry when possible, wear and repair before replacing, and recycle mailers/boxes locally. If you’re in Phoenix, choose local pickup to save materials and miles.
